Can you briefly introduce us to Innothera?
INNOTHERA has been a company in the pharmaceutical industry specialising in the treatment of pathologies and diseases of everyday life since 1913.
We are present in 120 countries around the world and employ 1200 people, 800 of whom are in France.
INNOTHERA has the specificity of exercising several professions: medicine, medical textiles, medical devices, hygiene and protection which complement each other harmoniously and contribute to the same goal: to treat everyday pathologies.
These activities mobilise a wide variety of medical, industrial, R&D, marketing and commercial professions, hence the challenge of skills management.
The group’s pharmaceutical culture enables us to apply scientific knowledge and a rigour specific to pharmacy to other internal skills (notably medical textiles), which is a major advantage over our competitors.
Innovation is also part of our core business, with R&D programmes dedicated to improving individual health and compliance with therapeutic treatments. All this with 100% French production!
What are Innothera’s main challenges and objectives?
INNOTHERA has positioned its project for the horizon 2025. Our ambition? To remain a family and independent company while being recognised in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of everyday pathologies.
To achieve this, our commercial strategy is based on three points at group level:
- A proactive and ambitious expansion.
- To boost our drug portfolio, especially in emerging countries.
- Building ambitious internal and external growth for medical devices.
We are also committed to maintaining and strengthening the group’s culture and values. This is reflected in the development of our key areas of expertise, operational excellence, strong governance and innovation in our products and services.
What issues would you like to address by implementing a skills management solution, and why did you choose eLamp?
We worked with a consulting firm to carry out an initial assessment of the skills of our sales force of 500 people around the world.
In order to perpetuate this assessment method, but wishing to make it agile and exploitable by operational staff, we turned to eLamp whose technological expertise allows an optimised and dynamic management of our data.
We are also getting ready to use eLamp to meet our global Workforce Planning and training challenges.
What were the stages of the project? How did eLamp support you?
The first step was to integrate the data collected by the consulting firm. To do this, the eLamp team configured the solution according to our needs.
We were then supported throughout the project phase, and advised on the best use of the solution on all the issues related to the deployment.
The eLamp team ensures regular monitoring throughout the project, deployment and run phases to ensure that Innothera takes ownership of this new solution, to put it at the service of business issues.
What are your prospects for the future?
The solution has already been deployed on the sales force (500 employees) so that managers can monitor their skills and assign the corresponding trainings. Deployment to all INNOTHERA employees will take place during the course of the year in order to use eLamp for the management of all our resources.
